Russian food retailer Dixy saw its first-quarter IFRS net profit rise 120 percent year-on-year to 356 million rubles ($12 million).
EBITDA for the first quarter of 2012 increased by 111.9 percent year-on-year to 2.1 billion rubles ($70 million) while EBITDA margin rose by 0.5 percent to 6.1 percent of sales from 5.6 percent in the same period last year.
The company’s consolidated revenues for the quarter grew by 93.1 percent to 34.7 billion rubles ($1.1 billion), matching analysts’ expectations.
